Stress is not a feeling you should have going into, during planning, or on your wedding day. Yes, you want your wedding to be like WHOA and you want all of your friends, family, and social media talking about it. But honey that doesn’t mean you have to kill yourself or your health creating the most memorable day of your life. I always tell my clients, get back to the heart of what matters and let’s WOW your guests all at the same time.
Try Not to Do Everything at Once
This does not apply if your wedding is two months away, but if you have more time then allow yourself to breathe. It’s always good to have a plan of what you could do monthly or every three months rather than trying to get it done in one day.
Get a Checklist
Let’s face it, Google is our source for everything nowadays. You can find thousands of different wedding checklists online. Choose one that works for you! Don’t drive yourself crazy searching millions of websites either. Most wedding checklists found online are pretty much the same.
Hire a Planner
If you’re very busy, hire someone who is professional at handling wedding checklists, being organized, and providing seamless wedding day execution.
Get Some Sleep
Z’s always makes you feel better. If you find yourself searching the internet until 3am, just know this is normal bride or groom to be behavior. However, you want to be in the best health leading up to the wedding day. So get some Zzzzzsss, please.
Delegate, Delegate, and Delegate Some More
Why is it we have such problem letting others help us? If the help is there then ask for it. You would be amazed by how many of your family and friends want to help with wedding plans.
